It’s almost back to school time for many students in the greater metro Atlanta area. Atlanta Public Schools (A.P.S.) wants to prepare students returning to school by hosting its annual Back-to-School Bash on July 28th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Parents and guardians are invited to bring their children to this free event to take part in more than 50 exhibitors, activities, free health screenings, and various resources for young students returning to school. There will be fun activities, tons of educational, after school and community resources for children looking forward to the new school year.
Students can also receive free health screenings and parents are required to pre-register their children for immunizations at the annual Back-to-School Bash. All students planning to attend the bash will have an opportunity to receive a free backpack with school supplies (while supplies last). A current district report card must be presented in order to receive the free backpack.
The Back-to-School Bash will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center’s Hall C in downtown Atlanta on Saturday, July 28th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Georgia World Congress Center is located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30313.
