It’s time to put some HUMP into your Hump Wednesday and join the East Point community for four hours of excitement in the city! “Wednesday Wind Down In The Point” (presented by the City of East Point) is back to deliver the best in live entertainment, food, drinks, and much more! You are cordially invited to bring your family, co-workers, friends, and loved ones to this exciting event, which will kick off on Wednesday, July 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Downtown Commons of East Point.

V-103’s Wanda Smith and WAOK’s Derrick Boazman are co-hosting the summer concert series. Get ready to get your laugh on as Smith and Boazman share the stage together and help bring out this year’s headliner Atlanta-based band Jukebox featuring Quinn of the Grammy Award Winning R&B Group Blackstreet. Attendees will also experience an outstanding lineup of talented artists, including live musical performances by LaMorris Sellers and Blue Remi, RedShoes and Gravy, The Al Chauncy Show, and The Soul Cartel.

Adults can enjoy a variety of great refreshments, including wine, beer, and even Margaritas! East Point Farmers Market and a plethora of food trucks will be onsite to help you fulfill your taste buds with good food and beverages while enjoying great music for the entire family.

If you are stuck at work and can’t make it to the event on July 25th, don’t worry. The concert series will be held again on August 22nd. The City of East Point is encouraging all local businesses and local artists to be a part of the August 22nd event by following the standard procedures listed below.

“Wednesday Wind Down In The Point” will take place on Wednesday, July 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Downtown Commons, located at 2757 East Point Street, East Point, Georgia 30344. Rain or shine, please be prepared for any weather conditions that may occur. This event will take place outdoors, so bring your umbrella along with your blankets and chairs. Tents, outside food, beverage, and/or pets are prohibited. If you are planning to take MARTA, you can arrive at the event from the East Point Train Station or College Park Train Station. Concert-goers are encouraged to use any of the public parking spots available in the following.
