On Saturday, October 27th, please come out and help save our communities at the 2nd Annual Meet and Greet Picnic. This event is designed to bring people of all ages to discuss various matters that affect all communities, including health, wellness, education, and policing in our neighborhoods. There will be music, free food, fun and games for kids.

Visitors can take part in the health screening section of the event. Medical professionals will be on site to provide free HIV testing, blood pressure checks, eye exams, diabetes testing, cancer checks, and more.

Financial and business experts will also be in attendance to share information with the community about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career development. Young children and adults are encouraged to take advantage of the education portion to help educate individuals on how to become financially established and succeed in today’s challenging economic climate.

Lastly, Dekalb County Police and the sheriff department will talk to all attendees about policing the neighborhoods. The discussion will focus on how the community and police can partner with each other and become more innovative.

All healthcare vendors are welcome to attend and speak to the community on how their services can benefit the community.

The 2nd Annual Meet and Greet Picnic kicks off on October 27, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Georgia State University Decatur Campus. The location address is 3251 Panthersville Rd, Decatur, Georgia 30034. All visitors who plan to drive to the event must park in Lot 3 off Clifton Springs Road.
